We take this opportunity to advise that the annual meeting of Club Members of the Adelaide Football Club will now be held on Thursday 13 December at 5.30 pm (from 10 December) at the Westpac Centre.
The Club Members’ meeting will cover a variety of issues to do with membership and will run for approximately an hour from around 5.30pm.
All Captain’s Club, Gold and AFC Premier Members are invited to attend.
Further to our recent call for nominations from Club Members for appointment to the Board of Directors (nominations closed on 19 November), we take this opportunity to introduce the three (3) Club Members who have nominated.
As only three nominations were received, and the Articles of Association provide for up to three member nominations to be forwarded to the SA Football Commission for consideration, there is no need for a vote.
The Club has submitted nominations from the following members:
Directors whose terms expire in 2012 are Mr Robert Chapman, Mr Andrew Payze and Mr Robert Foord. This creates three vacancies for which all three existing directors will beseeking re-appointment alongside the nominees from the member base as detailed above.
Note too, that there may be other nominations for appointment to the Board that are submitted direct to the Commission (as opposed to nominations emanating from the Membership base).
