Terms and Conditions
All 2015 Adelaide Football Club Memberships are subject to the following terms and conditions.
Please note that the conditions which follow are the result of a number of factors. These include the needs of members and the Club itself (including the constitutional requirements) and legal compliance, where applicable.
1. Purchase of Membership
If you are successful in your Membership application, the Club will issue you a payment confirmation electronically within 5 business days. Your membership card and fulfilment package will be issued within 30 business days from payment. Members who join during the season will receive a membership card (or match entry ticket) prior to the next home game. The Club reserves its right not to accept any Membership application form in its absolute discretion.
2. Term of Membership
Subject to the following terms and conditions, your Club Membership will entitle you to the benefits of Club Membership from receipt of your Membership payment to 31 October 2015.
3. Membership Categories
There are twelve primary categories of membership covered by these terms and conditions. These terms and conditions also apply, where relevant, to all other AFC memberships (Crow Baby, Birthday Club, Pet).
3.1 Club Membership Categories and Entitlements
3.1.1 Reserved Seat Membership categories
Season Ticket (Silver)
Entitles the holder to attend eleven (11) AFC (minor round) matches, and provides a reserved seat at Adelaide Oval. Additional entitlements will vary from season to season, at the discretion of the Club. Silver Membership does carry voting rights. Click to view benefit listings on 19thman.com.au.
3.1.2 General Admission Membership categories
Entitles the holder to attend up to eleven (11) AFC (minor round) matches, and provides access to 'open choice' seating within the Adelaide Oval Members Reserve (Western stand). This category is a general admission membership and is subject to capacity. The Adelaide Oval Stadium Management Authority (AOSMA) reserves the right to close the stadium gates regardless as to whether or not all members entitled to admission to the Members Reserve on a day, have gained admission to the Members Reserve, if in the opinion of an official of the AOSMA, the admission of further persons to the Members Reserve would or might endanger the safety of those persons who have already been admitted to the Members Reserve. Access to the Adelaide Oval Members Reserve is subject to AOSMA's Conditions of Entry, including dress code. Additional fees & charges may apply. Entry is subject to capacity & may not be guaranteed. You will however be required to upgrade your ticket through Ticketek to gain entry to the home Showdown (subject to availability and fees will apply). Additionally, reserved seat upgrades can be booked in advance through Ticketek (subject to availability & fees will apply). Bronze Membership does carry voting rights. Bronze Adelaide Oval Wait List (Purchased after 1 August 2014)
Entitles the holder to one place on the 2015 Wait List for one season membership (subject to availability). If successful in an offer of season membership for 2015, money paid towards joining the wait list ($85 or $90 - Adult or $25 or $30 - Junior) will be deducted from the total cost of the season ticket for the season. If the Adelaide Football Club cannot offer you a season ticket for the 2015 season, money paid ($85 or $90 - Adult and $25 or $30 - Junior) will roll-over and automatically join you as a Bronze member for the 2015 season. Bronze membership entitles general admission entry for up to three AFC (minor round) matches of your choice in 2015. You will however be required to upgrade your ticket through Ticketek to gain entry to the home Showdown (subject to availability and fees will apply). Members with general admission entry have access to limited general admission seating available in sections 524-527 from rows AA (subject to capacity and cannot be booked). Additionally, reserved seat upgrades can be booked in advance through Ticketek (subject to availability and fees will apply). Additional fees & charges may apply. Entry is subject to capacity & may not be guaranteed. Bronze Membership does carry voting rights.
Additional fees and charges may apply to General Admission Memberships. Members’ access to matches is not guaranteed. Access is subject to capacity and the Club recommends that Members reserve a seat in order to guarantee entry, particularly at high demand matches. Access may be gained to designated, unreserved seating on a first-come, first served basis subject to availability and Members can upgrade to a reserved seat for an additional fee subject to availability. Ticket agencies may charge a booking fee which is to be covered by the Member.
3.1.3 Victorian & Interstate Membership categories
Entitles the holder to attend AFC (minor round) away matches played at Melbourne venues (Etihad Stadium and the MCG) and does not include access to Simonds Stadium. Victorian Home & Away
Entitles the holder to attend AFC (minor round) away matches played at Melbourne venues (Etihad Stadium and the MCG) and does not include access to Simonds Stadium plus additional games (up to a maximum of 11 in total) at the MCG, excludes ANZAC Day. Entitles the holder to access a free ticket to one (1) Crows away game in their home state (if scheduled). Members are required to book their free ticket online at 19thman.com.au. Interstate membership is not available to residents living in Victoria. Interstate Membership does not carry voting rights. Interstate membership is only available to members who reside in ACT, NSW, NT, QLD, TAS & WA.
3.1.4 Non Access Membership categories

Gold / Captain’s Club (upgrade)
Gold and Captain's Club upgrades provide a Grand Final guarantee. Season Ticket, Essential Crows, Victorian and Interstate are the only categories of membership eligible for Gold and Captain's Club upgrades. Prospective Global Crow members must have an international postal address to be eligible. Global Crow membership is not available to supporters that reside in Australia or New Zealand. AFL streaming access passes will not be sent to members that have an Australian or New Zealand address on their account. Entitlements will vary from season to season, at the discretion of the Club. Crows LIVE membership is only available to supporters living in Australia or New Zealand (streaming will not work with an international IP address). AFL streaming access passes will only be sent to members that have an Australian or New Zealand address on their account. Entitlements will vary from season to season, at the discretion of the Club. 3.2 Membership Classifications and Concessions
Family Memberships are available for two adults and two juniors or two adults and one junior (under the age of 14 as of 1 January 2015).
To be eligible for a Junior Membership, the applicant must be 5 years of age or more and 14 or under as at 1 January 2015. Juniors aged under 4 at 1 January 2015 are entitled to attend matches without a Club Membership, however they must not occupy a seat.
Student concession is available to people studying full-time in 2015. Your Membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a copy of your 2015 student card or a photocopy of a stamped, receipted 2015 enrolment form from your education institution. You must be able to present your student concession card at the gate on game day (if requested). Failure to present the card (if requested) will result in you paying a daily upgrade fee to an Adult ticket.
Pensioner concession is available to people holding a 2015 pensioner concession card issued by Centrelink, the Department of Health and Community Services, the Department of Community Services or the Department of Veteran Affairs. A Heath Care or Health Benefit card will not be accepted. Your Membership application/renewal form must be accompanied by a photocopy of your pension card. Pension cards must be valid for the duration of the 2015 football season. You must be able to present your concession card at the gate on game day (if requested). Failure to present the card (if requested) will result in you paying a daily upgrade fee to an Adult ticket.
3.3 Toyota AFL Finals Series entitlements
Each Member’s access to the Toyota AFL Finals Series matches will be determined in accordance with their respective membership category and corresponding entitlements. Please refer to the terms of your particular membership for further detail. The Club will communicate information relating to Members’ access to Toyota AFL Finals Series matches in late August should the Club be participating in the Toyota AFL Finals Series.
4. Transfer of Membership Cards
Club Members may transfer their membership (or tickets) to a family member of friend providing that family member of friend is at the equivalent level of entry. Concession and Junior Members who transfer their membership card to an adult, or Junior Members to a Concession, will be required to pay the daily upgrade at the ticket office on game day.
5. No Onselling
Club Membership cards and Club Reserve tickets may not, without the prior written consent of the Club, be onsold (including via on-line auction sites) or used for advertising, promotion or other commercial purposes (including competitions and trade promotions) or to enhance the demand for other goods or services, either by the original purchaser or any subsequent bearer. If a ticket is onsold or used in breach of this condition, the ticket may be cancelled without a refund and the bearer of the ticket may be refused admission. Penalties apply (including cancellation of any offending member’s Club Membership without a refund).
6. AFL Member Upgrades
6.1 AFL Members may nominate a club of support and by doing so consent to the AFL providing their personal details to that club, so they may contact you, for example in relation to membership pack fulfilment and finals access. AFL Members who have nominated a club of support may purchase a club reserved seat membership upgrade.
Payment of your Club Membership fee may be made in one of two ways:
7.1 Full Payment: Your full Membership fee can be paid via any one of the following methods: VISA, MasterCard, BPay, Australia Post Billpay, Cheque, Cash or EFTPOS.
7.2 Payment Plan: Your Membership payments via a payment plan as follows:
7.2.1 Easy Pay payments will be deducted 6 or 10 equal instalments on the 14th of each month, beginning on 15 December 2014 (as 14 December 2014 falls on a weekend) via a nominated VISA or MasterCard only. If paying upfront on the payment plan, the full amount will be deducted on 15 December 2014 (as 14 December 2014 falls on a weekend).
7.2.2 By signing with the Easy Pay payment plan, you authorise the Club to arrange a debit of funds from your nominated credit card in amounts and at intervals as advised.
7.2.3 All members on the Easy Pay payment plan are automatically included into an Auto Renewal Agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your memberships from year to year.
7.2.5 Members will be given at least 14 days’ notice in writing of changes in the new amount of their next season's membership and to the terms of the Easy Pay payment plan agreement.
7.2.6 The first instalment will be withdrawn on 15 December 2014 (as 14 December 2014 falls on a weekend), with further payments on the 14th of each following month (unless this falls on a weekend, then it will be the next business day). If any payment fails to transfer between institutions on the 14th, further attempts will be made to attempt to clear the fund transfer. Members will not be provided with reminders or invoices for their payment plan instalments.
7.2.7 Members applying for the Easy Pay payment plan after the first scheduled payment will have the number of required payments deducted to bring them up to date with the schedule and then subsequent payments at each specified date.
7.2.8 If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, a letter will be sent requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable to you.
7.2.9 The Club may suspend or cancel your membership if, on two consecutive occasions, your drawing is dishonoured by your financial institution. We will notify you by letter if we suspend or cancel your Easy Pay payment plan arrangement.
7.2.10 It is your responsibility to ensure that: (a) the account details you have provided are correct, including notification should the expiry date change within the upfront, 6 or 10 month program; (b) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account on the scheduled drawing date.
7.2.11 If your Membership is suspended or cancelled, you will not be able to gain access to any matches during the Premiership Season or the Toyota AFL Finals Series.
7.2.12 If you believe that a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact Members Services on (08) 8440 6690. You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for drawing.
8. GST and Levies
Except where expressly noted, all prices include GST and any applicable venue levy.
9. Refund Policy
As a general policy, Club Memberships are non-refundable. Requests for refunds may be made in writing and are at the sole discretion of the Club’s Membership Manager.
10. Cancellation Policy
The Club reserves its right to cancel a member’s Club Membership without a refund where that member is deemed by the Club to have breached these terms and conditions (including where that member attempts to transfer or sell their Club Membership and/or associated benefits).
11. Club Member Code of Conduct
While barracking and supporting your club is a vital part of the game, offensive or aggressive behaviour (including yelling and swearing when dealing with Club staff, agents or AFL or other event staff) will not be tolerated. Club Members who consume alcohol on a match day are to do so responsibly. Drunkenness will not be tolerated. Club Members who breach the behaviour code of conduct may face penalties including cancellation of Membership without refund. The Club endorses the AFL’s stance on vilification and has a zero-tolerance for members or supporters that abuse the opposition, opposition supporters, or umpires on grounds of race, religion, gender and sexuality.
12. Variation to Club Membership Terms and Conditions
The Club may from time to time where reasonably necessary vary the terms and conditions of Club Membership. The Club will communicate any change to its membership terms and conditions via the Club website or email. Members will have no claim against the Club by reason of any change made to the terms and conditions of Club Membership.
13. General Stadium Rules
Club Members must adhere to all rules and restrictions imposed by the venues attended by the Club Member. All venues are smoke-free. Patrons are not permitted to bring alcohol into any venue and must adhere to strict restrictions placed on alcohol consumption in designated areas at all venues. Umbrellas are not permitted to be opened anywhere within viewing areas at any time on match day.
14. Lost or Stolen Memberships Cards
Membership cards remain the property of the Club. If a Club Membership card is lost or stolen, please contact the Club’s Membership Services Centre on (08) 8440 6690 and the Club will then issue a replacement Membership card subject to receipt of the $15 replacement card fee (as advised by the Club).
15. Voting Rights
Club Members who have access to no less than three (3) home or away matches per year may be eligible to vote in the Adelaide Football Club Annual General Meeting and/or participate in Member Elected Board Position elections. Eligibility criteria and voting conditions are available at afc.com.au.

Members may renew their Club Membership over the telephone, online at 19thman.com.au, by BPAY or at Australia Post. By renewing over the telephone, online, by BPAY or at Australia Post, you accept these terms and conditions of Club Membership (as amended from time to time by the Club).

- Season seat return is only available for Reserved Seat memberships paid for by the member. Essential Crows and Essential Crows Reserved Seat members will be unable to use the seat return program. In addition, corporate customers are not eligible to use the seat return program.
- Once seats are returned for resale they cannot be returned back to the member for that particular game.
- Once seats are returned the membership barcode will be retired for the relevant game and the membership card cannot be used for either entry into the venue or access to seating.
- Returned seats will be released in accordance with public demand for tickets in specific seat categories. There is no guarantee that your seat will be resold if returned for resale.
- For seats that are returned and sold, the cash back return will be determined by the season seat fee paid by the member. Each game will be valued according to the cash back table below.

- Members will be notified via email approximately 7 days after the match to advise whether or not their seat has sold.
- Cash back is not issued to members if the seat is not resold.
- Payment of any proceeds from the resale will be by bank deposit only with the member to provide banking details at time of returning seat for resale. If bank details are not provided prior to the sale of the ticket, the member will not receive a cash back return. In addition, if bank account details are not entered correctly during the seat return process, the Club will be unable to issue cash back.
- Seat returns close at 5pm (ACST) Tuesday (the week of the game) for each Adelaide Football Club home game in 2015.
- These terms and conditions are subject to change at any given time.
On entering this competition you are agreeing to the following terms and conditions:
1. STANDARD TERMS
1.1 Information on how to enter forms part of the terms of entry. Entry into the promotion is deemed acceptance of these conditions of entry.
1.2 This is a game of chance and the winner will be drawn randomly.
2. WHO CAN ENTER?
2.1 Subject to clause 2.3, entry is open only to permanent residents of Australia over 18 years of age.
2.2 There is one (1) entry for each Adelaide Football Club (AFC) eCrow membership package taken.
2.3 Patrons who have already signed up to be an AFC eCrow member will be automatically entered into the draw.
2.4 All entries are subject to the Terms and Conditions, rules and regulations and obligations stipulated in the Adelaide Football Club membership plan as defined in the regulations regarding
this plan and its obligations.
2.5 If you cancel your membership at any time within the Promotional Period your entry will be declared invalid to be entered into the draw.
2.6 Employees and families of the Promoter or the prize suppliers or any of their agencies associated with the Competition or Program are not eligible to enter. This includes a spouse, de-facto spouse, parent, child or sibling (whether full, half, step or by adoption).
3. HOW TO ENTER
3.1 Patrons who have already signed up to be an AFC eCrow member will be automatically entered into the draw.
3.2 Other patrons who wish to enter the competition must log onto 19thman.com.au and sign up to be an AFC eCrow member to be entered into the draw.
3.3 Failure to comply with the above conditions or complete all fields required will deem the entry invalid and no correspondence will be entered into.
4. CRITICAL DATES
4.1 The competition commences (The “Promotional Period” at 12midnight on Thursday 23 July 2015 and closes at 12midnight on Thursday 20 August 2015.
4.2 The winner will be contacted by mail, email and telephone.
4.3 The prize draw will take place at 12noon on Monday 24 August 2015 at (105 West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes SA) and the winner’s name announced on the website 19thman.com.au on Tuesday 25 August 2015.
4.4 The winners names will be published in “The Australian” newspaper on the Wednesday 26 August 2015.
4.5 If any prizes are unclaimed the “Promotional Period” will be extended and a redraw will take place (subject to any directions from a regulatory authority) at 12noon on the Thursday 27 August 2015 at (105 West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes)
4.6 In such an event the winner will be notified by mail, email and telephone and the names published on the website 19thman.com.au on Thursday 27 August 2015.
5. THE PRIZE AND DETAILS OF PRIZE DRAW
5.1 There is one (1) prize to be won with a total value of r.r.p AU$2,860.00.
5.2 The first valid randomly drawn entry will win a 10 seat Corporate Box for the Adelaide Crows vs West Coast Eagles match at Adelaide Oval on Sunday 30 August valued at $2,860.00. The prize includes 10 tickets, corporate box access, selected food & beverage for 10 persons for the match. The Food & Beverage package is to be pre-determined by AFC. The prizewinner may add to the Food & Beverage package at their own cost.
5.3 The prize will be available to be collected from Adelaide Football Club, 105 West Lakes Boulevard, West Lakes on Wednesday 26 August, Thursday 27 August or Friday 28 August between 9am and 5pm. Unless expressly stated in these Terms and Conditions all other expenses become the responsibilty of the Prize winner.
5.4 The prize is not transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
5.5 Winners of the prize should seek independent financial advice about any tax implications that may arise from the prize winnings.
5.6 The Promoter reserves the right, at any time, to verify the validity of entries and entrants (including an entrant’s identity, age and place of residence) and to disqualify any entrant who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions or who tampers with the entry process. Errors and omissions may be accepted at the Promoter’s discretion. Failure by the Promoter to enforce any of its rights at any stage does not constitute a waiver of these rights.
5.7 In participating in the competition, the winners agree to participate and co-operate as required in all editorial activities relating to the Competition, including but not limited to being interviewed, filmed for broadcast and photographed. The winners agree to grant the Promoter a perpetual and non-exclusive licence to use such footage and photographs in all media worldwide and the winner (and his/her companion) will not be entitled to any fee for such use.
5.8 The Promoter may, for an indefinite period, unless otherwise advised, use the information for promotional, marketing, publicity, research and profiling purposes, including sending electronic messages to the entrant. Entrants should direct any request to opt out, access, update or correct information to the Promoter. All entries become the property of the Promoter.
5.9 If a prize is unavailable, the Promoter, in its discretion, reserves the right to substitute the prize with a prize to the equal value and/or specification, subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority. As a condition of accepting the prize, the winner must sign legal documentation in the form required by the Promoter and/or prize suppliers in their absolute discretion, including but not limited to a legal release and indemnity.
5.10 The Promoter’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. NO LIABILITY
6.1 This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed or administered by, or associated with, Facebook. Eligible persons understand that they are providing their information to the Promoter and not to Facebook. The information an Eligible Person provides will only be used for the purposes outlined in these Conditions. Any questions, comments or complaints about this Competition must be directed to the Promoter and not to Facebook.
6.2 CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT TO CAUSE DAMAGE TO ANY WEBSITE OR THE INFORMATION ON ANY WEBSITE ASSOCIATED WITH THIS COMPETITION OR TO OTHERWISE UNDERMINE THE FAIR AND LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THIS COMPETITION MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. THE PROMOTER RESERVES THE RIGHT TO SEEK DAMAGES TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW IN THE EVENT THAT ANY SUCH ATTEMPT IS MADE, WHETHER OR NOT THAT ATTEMPT RESULTS IN ANY SUCH DAMAGE, INTERFERENCE OR UNDERMINING.
6.3 In the case of the intervention of any outside act, agent or event which prevents or significantly hinders the Promoter’s ability to proceed with the competition on the dates and in the manner described in these terms and conditions, including but not limited to vandalism, power failures, tempests, natural disasters, acts of God, civil unrest, strike, war, act of terrorism, the Promoter may in its absolute discretion cancel the competition and recommence it from the start on the same conditions, subject to government legislation.
6.4 The Promoter is not responsible for lost, interrupted communications or unavailable server or other connections, failed telephone, mid-delivery or computer transmissions or other errors of any kind, whether human, mechanical or electronic.
6.5 If this promotion is interfered with in any way or is not capable of being conducted as reasonably anticipated due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter, the Promoter reserves the right, in its sole discretion, to the fullest extent permitted by law (a) to disqualify any entrant; or (b) subject to any written directions from a regulatory authority, to modify, suspend, terminate or cancel the promotion, as appropriate.
6.6 The Promoter reserves the right to verify the validity of entries and to disqualify any entry of any entrant who tampers with the entry process, who submits an entry that is not in accordance with these Terms and Conditions of Entry or who has, in the opinion of Promoter, engaged in conduct in entering the Promotion which is fraudulent, misleading, deceptive or generally damaging to the goodwill or reputation of the Promotion and/or Promoter. The Promoter reserves the right to disqualify a winner if the Promoter becomes aware that the winner and/or the winner’s entry is of a type described in this clause.
6.7 Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantee, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) and Prize Promoter are not responsible for and excludes all liability (including negligence), for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of: (a) any technical difficulties or equipment malfunction (whether or not under the Promoter’s control); (b) any theft, unauthorised access or third party interference; (c) any entry or prize claim that is late, lost, altered, damaged or misdirected (whether or not after their receipt by the Promoter) due to any reason beyond the reasonable control of the Promoter; (d) any variation in prize value to that stated in these Terms and Conditions; (e) any tax liability incurred by the winner or entrant; or (f) use of the prize.
6.8 Nothing in these Terms and Conditions limits, excludes or modifies or purports limits, exclude or modify the statutory consumer guarantees as provided under the Competition and Consumer Act, as well as any other implied warranties under the ASIC Act or similar consumer protection laws in the State and Territories of Australia (‘Non-Excludable Guarantees’). Except for any liability that cannot by law be excluded, including the Non-Excludable Guarantees, the Promoter (including its respective officers, employees and agents) excludes all liability (including negligence) for any personal injury; or any loss or damage (including loss of opportunity); whether direct, indirect, special or consequential, arising in any way out of the Promotion.
7. THE PROMOTER
